Product Introduction
Standby State: When there is no fire, the sealed pipe plug at the inlet of the short pipe remains securely closed due to the operation of the transmission mechanism. This effectively prevents the pressurized water within the pipe from flowing into the short pipe located beneath the nozzle.
Fire trigger: In the event of a fire, the rising temperatures cause the glass bulb temperature-sensing element within the nozzle to shatter.
Mechanical Transmission: Once the glass bulb shatters, the transmission mechanism that it once supported—comprising components such as transmission tubes and compression springs—is set free. The force exerted by the spring then propels the transmission mechanism, ultimately leading to the opening of the sealed pipe plug.
Sprinkler fire extinguishing: After the pipe plug is opened, pressurized water can enter the short pipe and eventually be evenly sprayed out through the splash pan of the nozzle to achieve fire extinguishing.
Dry sprinkler heads are primarily utilized in dry automatic sprinkler fire suppression systems and pre-action automatic sprinkler systems. In environments where the ambient temperature may drop below 4°C, these heads play a crucial role in preventing the water within the pipes from freezing, thereby ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of the fire protection system even in cold conditions.
