UL/FM Grooved pipe fittings

Malleable iron pipe fittings are components used to connect, terminate, control, and change the direction of pipes in a pressurized gas or liquid piping system. They are designed for use with threaded pipe, most commonly black iron pipe or galvanized iron pipe.

Grooved flanges are a type of hybrid pipe fitting, with one end being a standard flange surface and the other end being a groove.

Mechanical Tee and Mechanical Cross both belong to grooved Outlet Fittings. They do not need to be welded or drilled on the main pipeline, but instead branch out one or two vertical branches directly from the existing main pipeline through mechanical means (such as U-bolts and gaskets).

Grooved pipe fittings are a general term, referring to all pipe assemblies that use grooved mechanical connection systems. This system achieves rapid and reliable connection between pipes and pipe fittings, valves or equipment by pressing grooves at the pipe ends and combining them with dedicated couplings and gaskets.
