Product Description
In a pumping system, when the water pump suddenly stops and the flow rate of the medium drops sharply, the traditional check valve disc (such as swing type) will instantly and abruptly close under the impact of the backflow medium and its own gravity. This sudden diversion will generate huge pressure waves that collide back and forth in the pipeline, which is the water hammer effect.
